When you sign in with Google or Facebook we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from those services. We store this in your WithUs account to identify you to other riders.

When you create or join an event we store your RSVP status and any chat messages you send.

We do not collect precise GPS coordinates unless you explicitly share your location during an event.

• To notify you of event updates (in-app only — we do not send marketing email)

We do not sell your personal data. Your name and avatar are visible to other riders in events you join. Your email is never shown to other users.

We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, and real-time messaging. Your data is stored on Firebase infrastructure subject to Google's privacy policy.

Your account data is retained while your account exists. You can delete your account and its data at any time, with no need to contact us: in the app under Profile → Delete account, or on the web at gowme.net/delete-account.

Deleting removes your profile (name, email address and photo), the rides you created together with their chats and photos, your RSVPs, and every chat message and photo you posted anywhere in WithUs. Your sign-in credentials are removed, so the account can no longer be used. This happens immediately and cannot be undone; routine backups cycle out within 30 days.

Three things are deliberately kept. Pseudonymous usage analytics (see section 6) survive, because they carry no name, email address, message content or precise location and cannot be read back as a profile. Moderation reports you filed about other users survive, so that deleting an account cannot erase a complaint. Attendee records belonging to other riders on rides you hosted survive, because that information is theirs rather than yours.

If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will delete it within 30 days.

If you signed in with Facebook and want to remove WithUs's access to your Facebook data, you can do so from your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → Remove WithUs. To delete your WithUs account entirely, use Profile → Delete account in the app or gowme.net/delete-account.

We record how WithUs is used so we can see where the product is confusing or broken — for example, how many people open a shared event link and how many go on to join the ride. This includes pages and screens viewed, buttons tapped, and which content was shown on screen.

Before you sign in we identify your device with a random ID stored on that device. It is not linked to you personally, it is not shared with other websites, and it is not used for advertising. Once you sign in, this activity is associated with your account.

We deliberately do not collect the contents of your chat messages, your photo captions, your event descriptions, or your precise location in analytics. We do not record your screen or session.

This data is processed by PostHog, which hosts it in the United States, and is also stored on our own Firebase infrastructure. To request deletion of your analytics data, email us at [email protected].

We use a single session cookie set by Firebase Authentication to keep you signed in, and browser local storage to hold the analytics device ID and session described above. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
